THIRD AND FOURTH LECTURES OF THE SUMMER SCHOOL “ARMENIA AND ARMENIANCY: CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES”


On July 1, 2014 third and fourth lectures of the summer school “Armenia and Armeniancy: Challenges and Opportunities” took place in the Noravank Foundation.



The third lecture, “Integration Processes: Challenges and Opportunities”, was delivered by A. Tavadyan, Chair of Mathematical Methods in Economics of the ASUE.


The speaker talked about the current state and peculiarities of Armenian economy, explored in comparison the two great regional integration projects: the EU association agreement and the Eurasian economic cooperation, and showed the advantages and disadvantages of each of them for Armenia.




S. Manukyan
, Analyst, Institute for Political and Sociological Consulting presented the fourth lecture titled “Modern Challenges of the Armenian Ethno-socio-cultural System”. The speaker noted social, economic, ethnic and cultural problems that the Armenian society faces and the ways to solve them.



Both lectures were followed by active question/answer sessions and discussions.
