PANEL SESSION OF THE NORAVANK FOUNDATION RESEARCH COUNCIL

A session of the Noravank Foundation Research Council took place on September 25, 2015. The agenda included changes in membership of the Research Council, cooperation and association with Ledra College, Cyprus and Hellenic Institute of Strategic Studies, Greece, issues related to competition for innovative and publicly notable ideas and projects in social science interdisciplinary areas to be implemented together with Integration and Development research and analysis NGO, and the Armenia-Diaspora University project.

G. Harutyunyan introduced Noravank Foundation’s Research Council membership candidates V. Atoyan, Director of National Security Researches program of the Amberd Research Center, and V. Aglyan, Deputy Head and Senior Expert of the Political Studies Centre at the Noravank Foundation. He also presented the opportunities and prospects of Noravank Foundation’s cooperation and establishing association with Ledra College, Cyprus and Hellenic Institute of Strategic Studies, Greece, as well as the educational project of Armenia-Diaspora University. G. Harutyunyan and A. Safaryan presented their approaches about the competition for innovative and publicly notable ideas and projects in social science interdisciplinary areas organized jointly by Noravank Foundation and Integration and Development research and analysis NGO.

The presentations were followed by an active exchange. Questions were asked, opinions expressed and suggestions made by G. Harutyunyan, A. Barseghyan, S. Manukyan, A. Safaryan, A. Tavadyan, A. Simavoryan, A. Zhamakochyan, V. Aglyan and V. Hovyan.
