MEETING AT NORAVANK FOUNDATION

On October 7 the Noravank Foundation hosted a meeting with participation of Rev. Dr Paul Haidostian, President of the Haigazian University in Beirut, Dr. Antranik Dakessian Director of Haigazian University Armenian Diaspora Research Center and Rev. Serop Megerditchian, Pastor of the Armenian Evangelical Emmanuel Church of Aleppo-Syria. From the Noravank Foundation the meeting was attended by Gagik Harutyunyan, Director, Artur Dumanyan, Deputy Director, Arestakes Simavoryan, Head of the Foundation’s Center for the Armenian Studies, and Vahram Hovyan, Expert of the Center for the Armenian Studies.

During the meeting the participants discussed the current state and problems of Diaspora, particularly Armenian communities in the Middle East, as well as the opportunities and prospects of cooperation between Noravank Foundation and Haigazian University.

At the end of the meeting a certificate of membership in the Research Council of Noravank Foundation was handed to Rev. Dr Paul Haidostian and a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Noravank Foundation and Haigazian University Armenian Diaspora Research Center.
